seventh week

seventh week (15th july to 21st july )
15 july
 work on festive kurtis range is continued and banner too . but this day i got an other assignment  also to design a kurtas for uniform of some school they provided us samples of print which they wnt to use  as in there uniform . So by working on same i developed 4 designs according to each print .
 16th july
work on embroidery motifs and material to be used is researched for festive season  kurtis .and design development for same is in process .
17th july
we went for material exploration in kinari bajar
18th july
research is done how to develop sequence work designs and then with the help of material sourced from market few designs are developed . now we have to see the outcome how will they look when developed in reality.
19th july
research is continued and more designs are developed  for festive season range . this day we decided to make sequence neck design by our own because we have less time and we cant wait for embroider to do same for us .
20th july
this day we developed a pattern for small size kurtis that they use to construct in there factory but we did same because we want to have neck designs only so we developed bodice only then we sourced fabric accourding to designs .So that  designs can de developed by us.and at the end of day we r able to achieve one design with sequence work on it with use of neon colours .
21st july
this day also we worked on same as we did previous day and few more samples are developed .

sixth week

Sixth week (8thjuly to 14^th july )

8^th july

Our week still continues on working with designing of kurtis . we shown our work to sir he told us to go for sampling .

9^th july

We went for sampling in factory and this day we developed 3 samples that belongs to festive range .but when we got the outcome it not exactly belong to festive range .it again went to regular kurtis but with better designs .

10^th july

Work on festive kurtis continues and  banner is also made that day .sir also told us to work on embroidery motifs .so that some embroidery based kurtis can also be developed for festive range .reserch on same is started that day and few motifs came out .

11^th  july

More research work is done on development of embroidery designs . then finally at the end of day i came out with designs of kurtis with embroidery in festive range .we had descusion wht to use in festive range kurtis and wht they people generally use and then we r asked to source chandani chowk also for some different  elements that can be used in festive range .

12^th july

This more attention is paid toward development of banners with some different and attractive outcome as the sale period is going on . so research is done on same and finally at the end i achieved in making two banners and both hav tottaly different  .

13^th july

This day we got to source kinari bajar at chandani chowk and we r asked to bring some samples of laces and other material so that same can be used in festive range by keeping in mind the range of kurtis they use to develop for there festive collection .

Fiffth  week  (1st to 6^th  july)

1^st july

This week we started with development of design in kurtis. After making designs we shown to sir and few got approvels and for same we hav to go for sampling to factory next day

2^nd july 

  we went to factory for development of sample that day we r able to make only 2 as masterji over there is not well . But fabric cutting of all the samples is done that day only. One kurti developed that day is appreciated by everyone as use of neon colour is done in that .Others outcome is also nice .

3^rd july

This day we got new fabric to work on and now the designing is to be done by keeping in mind the festive season . So befor development of sample some research is done on wht kind of elements do i need to require to put in festive range of kurtis and designing is done .

4^th july

Day still continues with development of design of festive range kurtis . one different  learning i learned that day is how to maintain record of fabric that came in factory godown . for maintain records they use to maintain book in which sutting of design and then the amt of fabric which came is recorded and how many colors that too . so that while production we came to know what exact amount fabric we have and how much go waist . or to findout that production people are not doing anything wrong .

5^th july

We again had factory visit as on that day we r not able to complete our sample .So today we went back to factory to complete that pending work . That day we found everything fine our master ji (murari bhai ) is also looking fine and finally this day we r done wih our sampling .

6^th july

We still working on festive season kurtis as new fabric came in factory . so i started working on that fabrics also . this how our week end and it also show that our next weeks will go on working on festive range fabrics 

4 th week (24th june to 29th june )
this week our process is almost same as to week three development of kurtis designs and making of banners for brand called HOTBERRIES but this week i made banner for the brand of kurties also SHREE .

third week

First day17th june

 this week we started our work of exploring  designs on new fabric that came in factory .This time fabric we got to work is mix and match of neon colours with prints and solids but all these fabrics i found are forms and blends of cotton  like :carmbric,poplin,rayon ,poly cotton south cotton  

At the end of day i started my  research on what banners are and how company make them ,all important elements  that they use in there banners .

Second day  18^th june to 22nd june 

I started my day with research work of banners and then I searched for the elements that our company need to put and then i started developing banners  lots of learning and mistake r made in formation of same but at the end of the day finally i came out with one banner for our company  brand called HOT BERRIES.

with banners we worked for whole week and done lot of reserch and developed banners also .

second week

Second week of internship

First day 10^th june

 I am still working on the samples designs  . That day I shown him all designs that I developed   few got selected  and asked for constructing samples , then he asked for work on few selected fabric that were laying in godown . I started working on same and  designs r developed  

Second day 11^th june

work on sample design is in process, then in between  sir asked us to help him out in designing uniform for working staff in banquet halls . We r restricted to design with jodhpuri trouser style patterns  by keeping same in my mind i done research on same and developed few designs and showed same to him he kept them as option .

Third day 12^th june

we worked on same project and finally achieved design . After achieving that small project  we again started working on kurties and developed few  designs again

Forth day 13^th june 

i received few neon fabric sample with  which i hav to devlop designs for there western brand called HOTBERRIES. For same few flat sketches r devopled which include tops. Then in between our sir told us to develop logo for there brand called HOTBERRIES . For developing same some research is also done and then some logos r done by me.


Fifth day 14^th june

  i started my Day by making flat sketches for western brand HOTBERRIES in which sketches of tops, jumpsuits, shirts and dresses .after developing designs  shown my work to sir and few samples got selected for sampling.

Sixth day !5^th june 

 day we started with learning on photoshop ............as sir wants us to help him out in editing photoshoot for same he tought us some basic things which r impotant and we practiced it.

First day 3^rd june 

As  appointed  under designe department to design  kurties under there brand called SHREE (THE INDIAN AVTAR) and HOTBERRIES. Under this brand i hav to design kurties and for same done reserch abt there brand wht exactly they r designing and for wht kind of coustomers . then we started our design . They use only prints and very less embroidery .So I developed  design accordingly .On my first day i developed 10 -12 sketches .

                                                 

Second day 4^th june 

few sketches got selected from previous day work  then they asked to add some prints to them for same i took prints from net  then they asked to selected fabrics for those design from godown were thay have all cambric cotton printed fabric for kurtis .although thay also hav chiffon and georgette also but that they use for western wear under hotberries brand. Then i developed design with help of cad skills by using there print in them .

 Third day 5^th june

again i saterted my day with developing designs on illustrator with fabrics that they hav in godown. They also asked us to do research on brands like BIBA AND W  .Wht they r bringing up in there collection of spring- summer 2013. Then i showed my design to SANDEEP sir there liked all the designs but few he liked for festive season and then he asked to develop three samples of kurtis in there factory which is near patal nagar 

.

Fourth day 6^th june 

today we hav to visit factory  but we din’t  as they hv wrk load .Then sir asked us to work on more designs and prints lying in godown .So I worked more on design and developed few more samples .Reserch work  is done hand by hand on brands .

Fifth day 7^th june

we went to factory for making samples for same we taken fabric from godown according to requirement of design .Then we went for sample formation I  got help of trained people there in this field in development of patterns and construction and wht learning i got from there is that they hav different  construction technique which r less time consuming and no technical defects.

As they r in field of construting simple pattern for there kurties but the one i had is little complicated for them and that took lot of time in cutting only .Although construction is simple as panels got cutted properly according to patterns of that design .Finally at the end of day I hav my all three samples ready in my hand .As that r sample  they people don’t focus on finshing much but they have done all   most all finishing while constructing like ripping of un wanted threads and finishing shoulder edges with French seems they people called it (sidha ulta) .

Sixth day 8^th june

I shown my developed sample to Sandeep sir he is satisfied and said that i would like to take these design in mass production then he went to see the amt of fabric with which i developed my sample .then he suggested for one sample to interchange the fabric of body and yoke due to shortage of fabric in stock and then that is done then he sended that design for mass production .One design he found that body is fine but little festive style approach although its simply from printed fabric only but the design he wants to use in his festive collection . Then he gave us few samples which he got as sample to develop design for same and we did same .
